COLIN SCULLY
Chairman and CEO
Mr. Scully co-founded the Company in 1996 with Tim Phillips. Prior to starting Life Line Screening, he was Regional Sales Manager of Specialty Chemical Resources from 1994 to 1996 and a Sales Representative for Cable and Wireless Corporation from 1993 to 1994. Mr. Scully has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Ohio State University. During that time, Mr. Scully also successfully completed leadership training in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated at the top of his class and was accepted for commission as a second lieutenant to USMC flight school in Pensacola, Florida.
TIMOTHY PHILLIPS
Executive Vice President
Mr. Phillips co-founded the Company in 1996 with Colin Scully. Prior to Life Line Screening, Mr. Philips was an Assistant Football Coach at the University of Kansas from 1989-1996. He was a Graduate Assistant Football Coach at the University of Kansas from 1988-1989. Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kent State University in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
DAVID CAMPBELL
President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Campbell joined Life Line Screening as Chief Operating Officer in September 2003 and was promoted to President in November 2004. From 2001 to 2002, he was the Chief Operating Officer of EmployOn, Inc., a business services provider to the human capital solutions industry. He held a variety of executive positions from 1990-2000 at KeyCorp, most recently as Executive Vice President. Prior to KeyCorp, Mr. Campbell was Senior Vice President and Director of Management Information Systems at Electronic Data Systems Corp. from 1989-1990. From 1986-1989, Mr. Campbell was Senior Vice President and Director of BancSystems Association. Prior to BancSystems, he worked as a Manager of Consulting at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Campbell graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Bowdoin College.
JOSEPH J. WHANG
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Whang joined the Company as CFO in August 2004. From 2003-2004, he was CFO of Regional Diagnostics, a provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging services. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Whang was CFO and COO of Printcafe Software, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ:PCAF), a provider of ERP/e-commerce software to the global printing industry. From 1989 to 1999, Mr. Whang was an investment banker specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and was most recently a Managing Director of Healthcare and Technology at Key Capital Markets. Mr. Whang started his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse. Mr. Whang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
JACK SMITH
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Smith has been with Life Line Screening since November 2001. He is responsible for business development including new business development initiatives, membership affinity programs, insurance affinity programs, national accounts, and private label partnerships. Mr. Smith was Senior Vice President of Business Development for GE Financial from January 1999-October 2001 and was responsible for four areas including all affinity business for career organization, stock brokerage wholesaler program, insurance brokerage, and private label and wholesale programs. From 1996-1998, Mr. Smith was a Divisional Vice President for GE Financial and responsible for all sales leadership functions for the central division. Prior to 1996, Mr. Smith held various other positions with GE Financial.
ERIC GREENBERG
Vice President of Marketing
In 2003, the Company hired Mr. Greenberg as Vice President of Marketing. He is responsible for all of the company’s marketing, product development, branding and public relations activities. Before joining Life Line Screening, Mr. Greenberg was President of DMM Partners, a direct marketing consulting practice, from 2001 to 2003. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Greenberg was an officer of acquired companies for Global Technologies, a venture capital group. Mr. Greenberg served as Corporate Co-President of InteliHealth -- a consumer health information and healthcare products joint venture of Aetna U.S. Healthcare and Johns Hopkins University. He also served as President and CEO of their Healthy Home Catalog from 1996 to 2000. In 1995, Mr. Greenberg co-founded Fairfield Mint, a direct marketer of die-cast automobile replicas. Prior to starting Fairfield Mint, Mr. Greenberg was a Product Manager at MBI, Inc., Danbury Mint Division, a direct marketer of collectibles. Mr. Greenberg also held positions at Ford Motor Company; United Parcel Service, U.K.; Rogers, Casey, & Barksdale, Inc. Mr. Greenberg holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from McDaniel College.
DR. ANDREW MANGANARO, M.D., FACS, FACC
Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Manganaro joined the Company in January 2005 as Medical Director and has been a reading physician for Life Line Screening since 1996. Dr. Manganaro has been a practicing vascular and cardiothoracic surgeon for more than 25 years and has cared for more than 10,000 patients with vascular disease and performed more than 5,000 vascular surgeries of every kind. Dr. Manganaro has been a tenured surgeon for more than 20 years at Kettering Hospital and is on the Governing Board of the Kettering Cardiovascular Institute of Kettering Medical Center. Dr. Manganaro is currently licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, New York, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Maryland. Dr. Manganaro graduated medical school from New York University School of Medicine. He graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.
SUSAN STEVIE
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Susan Stevie joined Life Line Screening in November, 2006. Ms. Stevie’s responsibilities focus on developing new business models that strengthen and complement Life Line Screening’s current growth strategies. Ms. Stevie’s prior professional experience includes 14 years with General Electric and one year with Charles Schwab. During her tenure at General Electric, she held a variety of domestic and international executive leadership positions in finance, six sigma quality, operations, and business management. Susan’s last position with GE was as COO/SVP Financial Advisors (now a division of Genworth.) At Charles Schwab, Ms. Stevie was the SVP, Active Trader Sales. Ms. Stevie is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
JIM KUHN
Vice President of Human Resources
Mr. Kuhn joined Life Line Screening in July of 2007. Mr. Kuhn is responsible for spearheading all Human Resources activities for Life Line Screening including the push into international markets and organizing the infrastructure of the company as it expands. Prior to coming to Life Line Screening, Mr. Kuhn worked with The Sherwin-Williams Company as the Vice President of Human Resources, International Division, a Fortune 100 company with thousands of employees. In addition to his work with Sherwin Williams, Mr. Kuhn also held many high-level positions with companies such as Cole National Corporation and Alcon Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Kuhn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH and a Masters degree in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University.
