What is a stroke? Often there are no symptoms or warning signs for stroke. Occasionally, there are stroke warning signs that you may want to keep in mind in the event that you or a loved one experiences the following:

  • Sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arms or legs, particularly on one side of the body
  • Loss of speech or trouble understanding speech
  • Sudden unexplained memory loss
  • Sudden dimness or loss of vision in one eye
  • Double vision
  • Sudden severe, acute headache
  • Dizziness or loss of balance/gait

These stroke warning signs are not always evident, therefore a Life Line Screening preventive health screening is important to your personal health and wellness.
