Database Marketing Analysts

Are you a savvy Database Marketing Analyst who enjoys digging into customer and marketing campaign data to learn more about customers, and to discover and recommend new strategies and opportunities that will grow revenue?

Life Line Screening is a nationwide company specializing in community based preventive health screenings that help adults learn and understand their risk factors for cardiovascular or chronic disease. We are seeking a Database Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing team.

Reporting into the Director of Customer Retention, the Database Marketing Analyst will primarily be responsible for evaluating and communicating results across multiple marketing channels to the consumer retention group, marketing leadership team, and Strategic Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to transform large volumes of raw data into concise, insightful, actionable information, critical to marketing and organizational success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive & deliver on analytical customer retention marketing initiatives that provide insights and help create a culture of data driven decision making at the campaign and strategy levels
  • Leverage database systems & SQL to provide informative and actionable reporting on customer, campaign, and marketing performance
  • Provide reporting that reflects areas of opportunity for Life Line Screening customer retention and provide direction for targeted marketing campaigns
  • Help lead data analytics and modeling discussions and needs with external vendors
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a CRM initiative
  • Provide analytical support for development of Strategic Leadership Team presentations
  • Create and further develop customer retention performance dashboard, preferably in Tableau platform
  • Effectively communicate recommendations and interpreted information to all areas of the organization

Database Marketing Analyst Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (advanced degree preferred) in one of the following: Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, MIS, Finance or related field with three or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong ability to run and operate relational database systems with proficiency in advanced SQL query building, data extraction and manipulation techniques
  • Experience with multi-channel direct response marketing campaigns and the related common data processes and best practices
  • Ability to listen to and interpret the requirements of peers and translate them into an appropriate course of action
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM platform is a plus
  • Experience with reporting platforms such as Tableau
  • Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Demonstrates a creative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
