I wonder what your liability is to individuals who request these tests on their own (without a physician responsible). For example, should the ultrasound reveal critical carotid stenosis or aneurysmal dilatation of the abdominal aorta and the patient doesn't understand the results, fails to acts and ...... When a Dr orders such tests , he/she assumes the responsibility to deal with the results. Seems like a 'slippery slope' to me.
