University of South Florida Study Confirms the Quality of Life Line Screening Test
Study design
In a study conducted with the University of South Florida, 238 patients participated in the Life Line Screening carotid artery screening and underwent a thorough round of diagnostic ultrasound/arteriogram studies at an independent vascular lab.
Results
When the results were compared, it was found that the screening by Life Line Screening provided similar results in terms of test sensitivity, specificity, and predictive value.
Conclusion
Life Line Screening carotid artery screening provides an accurate measurement of carotid artery disease risk.
