My sister has just been told she had COPD and it is generic coming from a parent, The test he gave hr says she is a carrier also. The Dr. said all siblings should have a genetic test to see if they are carriers. I am the only sibling alive and both my daughters have had COPD. should I have the test to see if I am a carrier?
