I have MS. I have very bad face spasms, and feet and leg cramps and spasms. So bad in my legs you can see my muscles pull away from the bone. It starts at my feet and climbs up up the to my knees. Feels lie someone is blowing air in my vein's every painful, last as long as 45 mins. there are time's when I'm walking or driving and foot will cramp up so badly that I can't walk or drive. nothing works to take the pain away. Can't stand to set with it. feels like I'm breaking my bones in my leg or foot. It's hurts just tell about it. It use to be once or twice a week. now it happen 4x's week at night while I'm in bed, more often. There's times it happens with both legs. Why, is this happening? Can you HELP me.

Judy - I am assuming you have discussed these symptoms with your doctor. There may be things that he or she can do including medication, massage therapy and physical therapy. Please discuss this with your doctor as soon as possible. This is clearly affecting your quality of life and we urge you to get a professional evaluation quickly

Christine - At this point, there is no cure, but there are effective treatments. Please consult with your personal physician.and possibly with a vascular surgeon.

Kevin - Your question likely relates to a complex circulation problem, both venous and arterial. Your family doctor and a vascular surgeon would best advise and educate you at this time.
