A friend of mine had a scan done by your company and was given a clean bill of health. A month later he died of a massive heart attack. Do you give refunds in cases like that?

I just wanted to let you know that I went to a Life Line Screening a few months ago. The results were I had a significantly blocked right artery and a nodule on my left thyroid. I immediately followed up with my Primary care doctor and had test done on both issues. Everything turned out fine and I am on medications to help with these issues. If I had not attended this screening who knows what could have happened. I want to thank all of you at Life Line Screeening. It really works and it is great to have the opportunity to have these test done.

Bob MIchaels, We are sorry to hear of the passing of your friend.
Life Line Screening offers tests that look for the major causes of stroke and vascular disease, but not all. It is possible to have normal screenings and still suffer a serious cardiovascular event. For example, we do not screen the coronary arteries which are the arteries surrounding the heart. This is why we include information on our results report stating that if you are having any type of discomfort or symptoms you should seek immediate medical attention, regardless of the findings from your screenings.
We include this information on our results report because we want to ensure that everyone who uses our service understands that no screening screens for every possible cardiovascular situation. Again, please accept our condolences for the loss of your friend.

Does insurance normally cover the four vascular screenings? If so, do we pay at the time of service and bill the insurance ourselves or do you bill insurance?

I am very concerned that I recently received a note stating that I need to come in for a screening to check on my diabetes condition. I do not have diabetes and my only meds are an aspirin a day. Pls tell me how this could happen. It concerns me.

I had my screening in Kahoka, Missouri on 19 January 2010 and am wondering when I will get my results back?
I have a doctor's appointment within the next week and would like to take the results with me.
Thank You.

I recently participated in Life Line screening and have only a few comments. Aside from how vital the tests are and how early screening can and often does save a life, the screening itself needs to be addressed. The setting that i was in was very cold and drafty and the entire check in process was confusing and long. I also felt there was a lack of privacy as names were called out loud and some tests performed without any regard to HIPPA privacy. Just some areas to keep in mind for the company and participants alike.

I noticed that if you check on a location it will say "5+ times available" but when you open it up you are only given two choices, why is that? Also, i think you need to be available later in the day at some of the sessions, 4:30 would be ideal for some people who cannot take the time off from work during the day.
