Can my doctor provide health screenings and will insurance cover it?
Though your doctor may order preventive health screenings, frequently insurance providers do not cover them unless you are showing symptoms. Unfortunately more than 80% of all people who suffer a stroke show no apparent symptoms or warning signs. That’s why Life Line Screening helps to bridge this gap by offering community-based health screenings at an affordable price.
Life Line Screening strives to provide early intervention for people with disease risk factors, so that they can follow up with their doctors and take appropriate action, if necessary. Doctors around the country recognize the value of screenings that help prevent major health problems. By getting screened, you will be providing your doctor with valuable information so that the two of you can be proactive about your health and your future.
