About Your Results

About your resultsView sample results

Your screenings will be reviewed by one of our board-certified physicians, with the exception of the 6 for Life Health Assessment (disease risk assessment). The 6 for Life screening data are run through a clinically based predictive program. Within 21 days of your appointment, you will receive a detailed report of your results through our online e-Results program, or you can choose to receive your results in the mail.

New results package includes:

  • A simple, clear introduction to explain what you are about to read

  • Ability to view online through our e-Results program
  • Your personal results summary page in color

  • Recommendations for next steps in prevention

  • A frequency matrix to help you decide what and how often you should be screened

Your results packet is specific to you and your results, age and risk factors and is signed by your reviewing physician and our National Medical Director. Be sure to share these results with your personal primary care physician.

If we recommend you see your own physician for further evaluation due to abnormal results, we will include printed images of your carotid artery, abdominal aortic aneurysm or atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) screening results in addition to the written report.

If we find a condition that requires urgent attention, we will notify you immediately.*

We recommend incorporating preventive screenings into your ongoing health regimen and encourage you to use your results report as a component of your personal health record. As part of our proactive approach to disease prevention, we will also keep track of your past screening history and inform you when it’s time to be re-screened. Screenings can alert you to diseases long before symptoms occur, enabling early diagnosis and treatment by your physician.

Request additional copies of your results.

*Please note that Texas residents will not receive critical results until doctor reviews.
