Health Screening Video Transcript:

We have helped asymptomatic people determine their risk for stroke, cardiovascular disease, and other life-threatening conditions. Most of them had no apparent symptoms or warning signs. Literally thousands of lives have been saved due to preventive health screenings that are painless, accurate, affordable, and convenient.

The stroke screening is painless as the wand is moved around the carotid arteries in your neck. This sonogram technology helps see inside your arteries to detect potentially dangerous plaque buildup that is the leading cause of stroke.

An atrial fibrillation screening can detect an irregular heart rhythm.  People with atrial fibrillation are five times more likely to have stroke.

The abdominal aortic aneurysm screening scans for the presence of a ballooning of the aorta.  These aneurysms typically don’t have symptoms, and if they burst, most people don’t survive long enough to reach a hospital.

Peripheral arterial disease is commonly referred to as a hardening of the arties which is caused by plaque buildup in the arms and legs. If this condition is undetected you are four to five more times likely to die of heart disease.

Osteoporosis is painless and silent in its early stages. Both men and women can benefit from this ultrasound measurement of the heel bone.

We strongly encourage you to take your results to your personal physician so you and your doctor can work together to develop a treatment plan.

In the end we can give you peace of mind, and a longer, healthier life.
