According to the report, the best sunscreens contain:
- Zinc
- Titanium dioxide
- Avobenzone or Mexoryl SX
- Cream
- Broad-spectrum protection
- Water-resistant for beach, pool & exercise
- SPF 30+ for beach & pool
In addition, good skin tips include:
- Wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a long-sleeved light-weight shirt.
- Not going out in the mid-day sun.
- Finding shade as quickly as possible.
- Applying at least a millimeter of sunscreen about ½ hour before you head out into the sun.
- Reapplying sunscreen often. Don’t trust the SPF factor.
Stay safe this summer and protect your skin.
