The Clinical Management team works hard to ensure the highest level of quality control throughout our process. Our board-certified, licensed reviewing physicians then review the results before they are sent to you.

Keith Coffee, MD, Ph.D.

Keith A. Coffee MD, PhD is Chief Medical Officer of Life Line Screening. Dr. Coffee has over 18 years of experience in drug development, working two years at a small biotech company developing gene therapeutics for oncology indications, followed by 16 years at two global Contract Research Organizations, most recently as Vice President of Scientific Affairs at PRA Health Sciences.  Dr. Coffee supported the clinical development of multiple compounds in various therapeutic areas including pulmonary medicine, critical care, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and diabetes.

Dr. Coffee received his MD and PhD from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, followed by residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Clinical Pharmacology and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  Following his fellowship, Dr. Coffee was an Asst. Professor and served as the Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler, TX.  Dr. Coffee received an undergraduate Plan II Honors program B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  Between college and graduate school, Dr. Coffee spent two years in the Peace Corps serving as a regional coordinator for a health education/sanitation project in the Northern Province of Togo, West Africa.

Dr. Andy Manganaro, MD, FACS, FACC, Chief Medical Officer Emeritus

Dr. Manganaro began his tenure at Life Line Screening as a physician reviewer in 2000. His commitment to the company’s overall mission motivated him to take a larger role and in 2005 he became the medical director, overseeing all aspects of clinical quality and development of clinical protocols. He now serves as CMO Emeritus.

During his tenure, Dr. Manganaro directed Life Line Screening’s research collaborations and analysis of its unique database of more than 8 million customers. This research shed new light on vascular disease and vascular screening, with a recent paper on abdominal aortic aneurysm screening hailed as “groundbreaking” by those in the vascular community.

Dr. Manganaro practiced vascular and cardiothoracic surgeon for more than 25 years and cared for more than 10,000 patients with vascular disease, performing more than 5,000 vascular surgeries of every kind. Dr. Manganaro has been a tenured surgeon for more than 20 years at Kettering Hospital and is on the Governing Board of the Kettering Cardiovascular Institute of Kettering Medical Center. 

Dr. Manganaro graduated medical school from New York University School of Medicine. He graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.
