4 Preventive Health Screenings for these Diseases:

 Carotid Artery Disease:

an ultrasound is performed to screen the carotid arteries (a pair of blood vessels in the neck that deliver blood to your brain) for buildup of fatty plaque. This buildup, called atherosclerosis, is one of the leading causes of stroke.

 Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD):

an Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) test is performed using blood pressure cuffs on the arms and legs. It is important to screen for PAD because it increases the risk of coronary artery disease, heart attack, or stroke.2

 Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA):

an ultrasound is performed to screen the abdominal aorta for the presence of an enlargement or aneurysm. AAA can lead to a ruptured aortic artery, which is a serious medical emergency.

 Atrial Fibrillation (AFib):

an electrocardiogram (ECG) is performed by placing sensors on the arms and legs to screen for irregular heartbeat. AFib can lead to blood clots, stroke, and heart failure, and other heart-related complications.3

Success Stories & Testimonials4

“Life Line did a good job and their staff was very receptive and professional. They found some problems which I went to the doctor for and had surgery. Looking at it in the long run, they kind of saved my life.”

- Donald, Illinois

“Everybody was telling me to get my carotid artery and see if there were any blockages. I had it checked with Life Line and there were slight blockages from what they could see on their pictures. It was a good screening thing and it was a good thing to go through for me for my own knowledge. Life Line seemed like a good company and my experience with them was interesting. The people were nice and they seemed to know what they were doing. They were all professionals.”

- Eric, Florida

“I've been using Life Line Screening off and on for 10 years. Everything is real quick. It's like an assembly line, but these people know what they're doing. It's quick. They get you down there. They're nice. That's why I go back. It's very professional. I told them the main reason I was going in is 'cause I was worried about my carotid arteries. They did the test and when I got the reports, they recommended that I get another test to be sure of the results 'cause the results weren't good. I went and called my cardiologist. We did a test. They found that my right carotid artery was blocked. Now they're working on getting me surgery. So, they definitely helped me. Their information has always been solid..”

- Harold, Georgia

“I got Life Line Screening's standard package. It moved right along and was well organized. I was very happy with the results.”

- William, California

No single screening can detect all risk factors for all conditions, such as and including the presence of coronary artery disease.
