9 Preventive Health Screenings for these Diseases:

Stroke & Cardiovascular Tests

Carotid Artery Disease

An ultrasound is performed to screen the carotid arteries (a pair of blood vessels in the neck that deliver blood to your brain) for buildup of fatty plaque. This buildup, called atherosclerosis, is one of the leading causes of stroke.

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)

An Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) test is performed using blood pressure cuffs on the arms and legs. It is important to screen for PAD because it increases the risk of coronary artery disease, heart attack, or stroke.2

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)

An ultrasound is performed to screen the abdominal aorta for the presence of an enlargement or aneurysm. AAA can lead to a ruptured aortic artery, which is a serious medical emergency.

Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is performed by placing sensors on the arms and legs to screen for irregular heartbeat. AFib can lead to blood clots, stroke, and heart failure, and other heart-related complications.3

Additional Tests for Women

Kidney Disease

A simple blood test is used to detect and monitor kidney disease. Kidney disease can cause dangerous levels of fluid, electrolytes, and waste to build up in your body.

Osteoporosis Screening

An ultrasound is performed to measure the shin bone for an abnormal bone mass density. This can help assess the risk of osteoporosis, a disease where bones become weak and brittle.

HsC-Reactive Protein Test

A simple blood test can check your high-sensitivity C-reactive protein level. The hs-CRP test can indicate the risk of getting heart disease.

WbA1C Screening

An HbA1C Screening is a simple blood test that measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 3 months. HbA1C Screenings are commonly used to diagnose prediabetes and diabetes.

Thyroid Hormone Test

A Thyroid Hormone Test is a simple blood test, it is the first step in finding signs of a thyroid problem.

What they say about us

Life Line did a good job and their staff was very receptive

and professional. They found some problems which I went to the doctor for and had surgery. Looking at it in the long run, they kind of saved my life.

– Donald, Illinois

Everybody was telling me to check my carotid artery and see

if there were any blockages. I had it checked with Life Line and there were slight blockages from what they could see on their pictures.

– Erica, Florida

I’ve been using Life Line Screening off and on for 10 years.
Everything is real quick. It’s like an assembly line, but these people know what they’re doing. It’s quick. They get you down there. They’re nice. That’s why I go back. It’s very professional.
